Things you will certainly want to know: You can download and play kMoria at no charge. You can also redistribute kMoria for free (e.g. beam to your friends, add to your software download site) -- but you are not allowed to sell it. Things you might also want to know: You can download and read the source code at no charge, too. You can distribute the source code - but you can't sell it. You can modify kMoria (source and/or executable) and use the modified version yourself. You can distribute your modified version (executable and/or source) but you cannot sell it -- no one is allowed to make money from selling any software that is descended from Moria, so, you would not be allowed to make money from selling your modified version of kMoria. Further notes for those interested in modifying: You must also leave the credits intact (you can add yourself if you think it reasonable, naturally, but please do not remove anyone). It would be sensible and polite (but you are not required to) to indicate the extent of the changes you have made, and to rename your version if you make extensive changes, so that people can tell the games apart. I would appreciate (but this is not a requirement either) receiving a copy of the changes in your version, so that good ideas have a chance to wind up in my version too. -Bridget Spitznagel
